HOW DO I GET TO YOUR PLACE?
Located in historical downtown Liberty, we are on N. Gallatin Street between W. Franklin Street & W. Mississippi Street. Go inside 124 N. Gallatin and we are on the second floor.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Street parking is in the front of the building. A parking lot is located in the back of the building (off S. Prairie Street).
WILL INSURANCE COVER MY APPOINTMENT?
You may attempt to run the services through insurance using a “superbill.” We only offer private pay. Have confidence in knowing what you will be billed prior to your service through viewing our transparent pricing. Our team welcomes discussions about billing.
WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR SERVICES?
Would you renovate a house while the foundation is unstable? Probably not. Our nervous systems are foundational for wellness. It is challenging to take in new information while in an anxious state. Many people do not even recognize that they are anxious because they have felt anxiety for so long that the feeling becomes normal. We objectively identify biomarkers that demonstrate anxiety, name them as such, and help people to work effectively with and through the symptoms.
Likewise, brain integration is necessary for a solid foundation. Neural Pathways Learning Center utilizes techniques that promote lateral and horizontal integration in our methods. As a result, affective regulation and cognition have the opportunity to improve.
WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY CHILD TO EXPECT?
Depending on your child’s experience with school, telling him or her that you are headed to a “learning center” might yield less than enthusiast reactions. The truth is, we are learning all of the time whether we realize it or not. At Neural Pathways, we are not tutors; although tutors are invaluable when one is faced with learning difficulties. Instead, we teach kids new skills and strategies, often in experiential ways. Sometimes children do not even realize we are forming new neural pathways in their brains. Consider telling your child that he or she is going to a place that helps improve academic functioning…and we will be moving around. Improvements are also observed in other domains such as social and physical performance.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I ARRIVE FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
In order to keep our costs low, which also keeps the prices to our customers down, we do not have a hosted reception area. There is a seating area in front of the office door. Wait in comfort until your appointment begins.
HOW DO I ACCESS INTAKE PAPERWORK PRIOR TO THE FIRST SESSION?
Create a username and password by setting up an account in the top, right area of the website. Once you are logged in, you will have access to a “Resources” page. From here, one can download informed consent, an intake form, and functional assessment tool. Print out the documents, fill them out, and bring them to your first appointment.
DO PARENTS OR CAREGIVERS STAY WITH THE CHILD DURING SESSION?
Parents do not need to stay while their child is in a session. In fact, most kids are more compliant and work harder when parents or caregivers are not present. Besides, we are located near Classy Chocolates, Ginger Sue’s, and many other businesses on or near Liberty Square! There is also a quiet courtyard on the premises.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash, and Check
HOW DO I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled at no charge up to 24 hours in advance. Just call our number to let us know!
